Envision Family Eyecare is Hiring an Optician Near Lexington, SC

Summary

Single provider Optometry office is seeking a motivated individual to deliver high quality patient and customer service in an established, fast-paced private practice setting. Position will perform optical duties. Person must possess an underlying commitment to the organization’s values and goals, the patients, and staff in order to maintain company growth and performance.

Essential Duties:

  • Directly communicate with the doctor regarding all aspects of the office, both medical and retail.
  • Support the Brand: foster an office environment that is focused on consistently delivering exceptional patient/customer service.
  • Perform all duties inherent of an Optician.

Technical Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform all aspects in regard to optical prescriptions, measurements, product knowledge, adjustments, repairs, troubleshooting patient concerns, and verify accuracy of orders.
  • Sound judgment, problem solving, and decision making.

  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette.
  • Honesty and integrity.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.

Qualifications:

  • South Carolina Optician’s license NOT required
  • Must have 2 years Optical experience.
  • Fluent in English, with Spanish a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
